New trend of low-carbon: Paper packaging gradually replaces plastic packaging
Recently, under the comprehensive promotion of the green consumption concept among the entire population, the environmental protection packaging sector has undergone rapid iterative upgrades. The pulp box packaging, which uses natural plant fibers as the core raw material, has gained popularity due to its advantages such as being environmentally friendly, recyclable and degradable, and highly practical. It has gradually replaced traditional plastic and foam packaging and has become the preferred solution for brand packaging upgrades in various industries, initiating a new wave of green transformation in the packaging industry.

The pulp box packaging is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging product created through a mature mold pressing process. The core raw materials are all natural and renewable plant fibers, mainly including recycled waste paper, sugarcane pulp, wood pulp and other green raw materials. These materials are sourced naturally, have a wide range of sources and are sustainable. Compared with traditional packaging materials, the production process of pulp boxes is green and low-carbon, with no large amounts of harmful pollutants being emitted throughout the process. This completely breaks through the industry pain points of plastic and foam packaging, which are difficult to degrade, prone to causing environmental pollution and resource waste.
The production process of the pulp box can generally be divided into several steps:
- Material Preparation: Recycled waste paper, cardboard boxes, or sugarcane residue and other raw materials are pulped and mixed to the appropriate concentration.
- Product Forming: The pulp is injected into a special mold and dried by means of vacuum suction, etc., to form a wet blank on the mold.
- Drying Treatment: The wet blank is dried to remove excess moisture.
- Shaping and Decoration: The rough edges are removed, and post-processing such as embossing, printing, or hot stamping can be carried out as needed.

In terms of environmental protection performance, the pulp box packaging possesses three core advantages: complete degradability, recyclability and reusability. After being discarded, the pulp boxes do not require special treatment and can rapidly degrade in the natural environment, without causing white pollution. At the same time, they can be recycled and reprocessed into pulp for secondary use, significantly reducing the pressure on the ecological environment caused by packaging waste. It perfectly aligns with the national dual-carbon strategy and the requirements for plastic pollution control, and is the core carrier for current packaging reduction and low-carbon development.

In addition to its outstanding ecological value, the practicality and adaptability of the pulp box packaging have also been comprehensively upgraded. Through the high-pressure molding process in the mold, the structure of the pulp box is stable and has sufficient toughness, possessing excellent buffering, shockproof, and compressive resistance properties, which can effectively protect the products from damage during transportation, storage, and sales. At the same time, it has extremely strong plasticity and can be customized in various specifications and shapes according to the size, shape, and usage scenarios of different products. The logo can also be customized on the mold. It can be precisely adapted in various fields such as food and beverage, digital appliances, beauty gift boxes, fresh fruits and vegetables, and cultural and creative gifts, while also balancing protection and aesthetics.
